Avery Brooke Allen- Little Avery Bug!

Avery entered the world and our hearts on May 26th, 2009. Just like Paige, I loved her with all my heart from the very first moment I saw her. She is now 4 months old today and I can't imagine my life or our family without her in it. She has such a sweet spirit and is so happy. I call her Smilie:). She is very healthy and loves attention, especially from her Daddy. Today she weighed 15.2 pounds and is 80% in weight- 50% in height and 10% in head size. Ha..She is so beautiful. Not did a great job creating my little bug. I will try to get her belly laugh on tape and post it. It's awsome!!

Life with 2 is much more hectic, that is why I am just now writing this. Even through the sleep deprivation I still feel extremly blessed to get to stay home and be with the girls. Paige is loving being a big sissy too. She is very helpful and is not near as jealous as I anticipated.

Paige- 20 mths.March 2009

Paige is amazing! She is so much fun and never stops talking. I wonder who she gets that from?? Her favorite things to say are Thank you and New one.

It is really cute seeing her turn into a little girl and as you can tell from the slide show she is ALL GIRL! Angel, the dog, gets to wear hats and necklaces and all kinds of pretty things:). Angel is still Paige's favorite person in the world and then Josie of course.

Paige seems to be grasping that she will have a little sister soon. She understands that the bed is Avery's but the room is still Paige's in her eyes:). I know she will be a great big sister. She loves playing with and taking care of her dolls.

She is a true joy and I feel blessed to be her mommy! I hope she always keeps that sweet spirit.

Merry Christmas. Here is our Christmas card that you were supposed to receive about 2 days ago. However our order got messed up and apparently cannot be fixed. We received a lovely calendar of someone else's grandmother and dog in place of our Christmas cards:). Love you! Katie, Chris and Paige

A life in the day of Paige

Paige has been growing up fast these days. She is walking all over the place and crawling on everything. Her favorite thing to do is play outside and she can clearly say Mommy, Daddy, Shoes, Bible, Jesus, No , and many others. Her hair is at a length that I can now put in a hair tie, which I LOVE and she continues to put a smile on our face every day. She did a front roll today by herself with no prompting from mom.
